It's long, I admit, I had to take a dinner break, but it's definitely worth the time. Robert aka Bob was wonderful as always. Since I'm a Robert Deniro fan, he always does an excellent job. There are parts where I got teary eyed, the choices he had to make, and what he went through. He was a strong guy (talking about Robert Deniro's character) who tried to make things right in the end.
What a fabulous movie. The script was perfect, and so was the acting. De Niro and Woods had wonderful chemistry. Don't expect a Godfather type film if you want to see this. 4/4 stars.
this is one hell of a movie! Great cast, awesome story and loved the way they build up the characters. this is by far one of the best movies ever made. a must see. 5/5
This is got to be the longest movie I'v ever seen but it was awesome the whole way through, I don't understand why I'v never seen it before. De Niro is the best, my fav. actor. Thank you WMLN if it weren't for this site I would still be living life without having seen this movie and that would be a shame.
While watching this long movie you have to understand at the end whats it all about..I love this movie i have this one in a dubble box VHS.

I've wanted to watch this for a while now (this was the only major Sergio Leone movie I hadn't seen), and I wanted to be able to sit down and watch it all the way through. It was definitely worth the wait and the 4 hours it takes to watch. Such a good movie. It's so complex.. I'm going to have to watch it again sometime. And that music.. it just communicates the emotion of the movie so well! It was really nice to see Leone take on another genre (other than the western) and still succeed beautifully!
If only he were still alive..

I give it a10/10, and highly recommend watching. You wont be able to watch it on you know where, but I was able to watch it complete on version #2 w/out problems. ENJOY!
Deniro,Woods,Forsythe,McGovern what can you say they nailed it down.I loved the story very well done.Don't forget little Jennifer Connely she's all grown up now.I watched this on HBO like 20yrs ago and own it on dvd.Your gonna need some time on your hands before watching this it's like 4hrs long.
The more you see the film you realize the film is a robust one that will stand the test of time because Leone did not want to merely present an interesting saga on screen but entertain intelligently. 9.5/10.
This is a good movie!! It's also sad, when Robert Deniro was looking at himself in the mirror when he arrived back in new york as he was older. I got a little emotional, because I could just feel the sadness about everything he lost. (Yes, I get into the movie). It's a long movie, I suggest watching it when you know you have time to kill. Enjoy!
