I thought this movie was a good reflection of the cultural differences between various nations, and that people should be open to these differences, enjoy and learn from them instead of being arrogant or simply jerks (as many are).
Guys, I'm an Indian. Although I havent watched the movie yet, but I definately feel that outsourcing isnt a bad policy. I mean, if the companies can cut down on their costs by working in some other country, whats the big deal! Its business after all. Plus, the country in which investement has been done, also benefits. So it provides twin benefits to the home company!
I enjoyed the movie. I appreciated that the film captured outsourcing from both sides of the issue. From the disgruntled American employee sent to India to train the person who will take over to the Indian employee who cannot understand the issue because America essentially outsources so much as is (that being products itself--being made in China). It shows I think the fact that America is very much a service industry that relies heavily on other countries--in terms of tourism, products, now services. I do like that there was recognition of the India side being able to improve their service as much as the American employee could. It was not a sort of slapstick approach where the American employee comes to save the day. Also I loved that each culture is being represented in a very honest way and very telling of how the Indians in the film could express their culture while the American employee cannot easily describe his culture. It's almost a call for Americans to question corporations that outsource to the detriment of the American worker to the fact that most Americans do not know much about their culture much less other cultures (not only from other countries but within America as well). Great film.
How could they wipe their butts with their hands!!??!! I've had to skip the last third of the first half because it wouldn't buffer anymore.
Outsourcing is a terrible practice for our country.
Very good copy and a great story. The producers of Zohan should have watched this first and then they would have had a better idea of the India culture and maybe could have made a better movie. Nice way of getting to know other cultures and understanding them. Very well worth the watch.
I liked this movie as it shows the true nature of Indian people, for eg when tood( Our Hero) arrives in Bombay All The Taxi Guys Surrounds him but what i would like to point out here is that this always doesn't happen with tourist it always happens with me when i am at an airport or a railway station..

Very good insight into Life in India, I would say they've got it SPOT ON! absolutely fabulos film, Good to see something different to a typical Hollywood movie. 5/5
THIS BOLLYWOOD MOVIE IS VERY TOUCHING. THE AMERICAN EGOCENTRIC STEREO DEMEANOR TAKE AN EXODUS AND SWIFTLY AS MERCURY CAN TRAVEL. THERE WAS A TREMENDOUS LAG TIME SO I CLOSED OUT ALL AND RETURNED LATER. I AM QUITE VERSED IN INDIAN CULTURE AND SHARING OF ONE'S OWN WORTH IS A BLESSING AS IS THE ACCEPTANCE. I LOOK FORWARD TO A SEQUEL THOUGH AT LAST ONE WILL ONLY PONDER AS BOLLYWOOD NEVER DOES SEQUELS WITH AMERICAN INTEREST.
I was surprised by this one. The leading lady was smoking hot. A great comedy dealing with the differences between 2 cultures and being a fish out of water. 9/10.

I loved this movie from start to finish. It was well worth the watch. It had a few jokes and many jolts of reality and culture. It was also one of the movies that I didn't want to see end so soon. Great movie, I will give it 4 out of 5 stars. All should watch.
The movie was great! The whole I'll Never Do It Again (INDIA) thing was REALLY offensive to an Indian person like me but the rest of the movie was awesome! They only showed the villages of India and Bombay isn't THAT bad! The part where I used to live looks just like New York (including the traffic haha XD)..
There is no Mac Donelles in India! LOL! There are normal Mc. Donald's everywhere and they do sell cheeseburgers! That was seriously funny to watch! Made me laugh a LOT.
I love how they portrayed Holi! They captured the essence of it quite well! And the Kamasutra Room was just the funniest thing EVER..! LOL!!
And yes, Gola's make everyone sick. Not just foreigners...HAHA!
...The movie was great. Really awesome. I loved it.
P.S: Watch it in Firefox. It buffers WAYYY too slow in IE or Safari.
