This bloated, overblown, tediously overlong, hilariously cheesy 'Titanic' wannabe showcases plenty of expertise in the visual effects department and nothing but laughable bombast everywhere else. 'Titanic' worked because James Cameron knew how to find the balance between fictional, old-fashioned cornball romance and a devastatingly true-life disaster. The sinking of the ship was not just a stunning achievement technically but also truly emotionally draining. Cameron had respect for his subject matter.
The movie is great but that spoiler comment by ZOMGitslauren is just plain stupid. there are people all over the world who for some reason or another have not seen this and tons of other movies on this site.I want to know.. why certain people give away the ending or forget to use the spoiler? it's dumb!! plain dumb. I'm sorry for saying that.
I have never been a fan of action movies and just any movie in general with a lot of violence. Nor have I ever been interested in war movies. Thought I would give this a chance considering it is based on a real war. Actual facts depicted in the movie. great storyline. Great cast. an all around GREAT movie. definitely changed my mind. 10/10
My all time favourite war film. Thought the charecters were cast brilliantly. Also the movie describes the emotions of the soldiers throughout the attack.

It was a good movie wasn't it. You see people...Here's someone who HAD NOT seen this movie until now. I wonder if he/she would had still seen this movie knowing that someone spoiled this movie by making a comment such as the comment made above by ZONGitsmelauren. glad you liked the movie.
