A young man arrives in a small town seeking vengeance for the murder of his sister and falls for a stunning older woman with her own psychological scars.
Your heart can't help but feel the emotions these characters play all the while contemplating - "what if I were in his/her shoes?" Well acted by the cast as a whole.

When Ashton decided to take matters in his own hands when the alleged killer was found not guilty..in the alley by his house and all the man could say is "I was her friend - I tried to help her" and you knew at that moment he was telling the truth after you had hated him for what you thought he did from the beginning of the movie..wow. Powerful stuff.
I dont know what I was expecting, but it turned out to be pretty good. The ending had me fooled! I love both Michelle and Ashton, and Kathy was, as usual, a pleasure.
And I would just like to say THANKS TO ALL WHO RUN THIS SITE. You have gotten me through another tough winter and all of your work to keep this site here is greatly appreciated. I give this movie a 4/5! The only bad part was the way Ashton walked!! What was up with THAT??!!
Its so hard to watch b/c it true to life. I did not see the images coming. It's hard to take when you know this happens everyday in peoples lives. Story line 5/5. Watch with caution. Not for the faint of heart. Freddy Kruger has nothing on real life horror stories. 5/5
I could stare into Ashton's eyes for days =] He is so good looking. And I'm glad they had a lot of close ups of him. Sad storyline but the ending was a little better. 4/5
Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfiefer both did good jobs of acting in this but, the sotryline is over used and I thought it was a waste of an hour and forty-five mins.. 1.5/5..
A litle bit of an odd movie .. tough subjects odd circumstances ,But it's hard not to feel for the characters andbecomes an interesting movie because of that ..Something is done right either well written or acted well..something draws your feelings to charecters or situations you'd rather not believe or care about ..maybe the only thing bad here is this review .worth a look 8/10
I liked this one a little slower paced than most but good. It seemed to touch on the sadness of reality at times in some peoples lives. Acting was ok.. I think Kutcher could've beefed it up a little unless he was going for the big dumb Ox thing, then he did ok:)
