umm wow different this movie will leave u thinks 'what the heck is going on' lol . also this girl won't shut up haha tho this is the closest ive seen to true fear -if this sort of thing were to happen in real life-

I cannot stand all the screaming the girl does at the end. Its just obnoxious but the ending is very creepy. I do have to admit i skipped over some parts because I thought it was just boring here and there. But its worth a watch if ya got some time to kill
well me and my old man watched this and i thought it sucked,he said he liked it but then what does a man know,lol,i am not into blood and guts so if you are not into it then don't watch it and that girl i thought she would never stop screaming,what a headache,any whoo i guess this is a man flick,the man says 7/10 right yuck!!
ok i undastand da whole pt of da 1st hand experience but right when the movie gets good the camera's jerky movements and really dark scenes just piss you off cause you cant see whats going on really good. had it been shot like a regular movie id give it 5/5 but b/c of the p.o.v i give it a 3/5
oh da other thing that will piss u off is the reporter chick non stop screaming like seriously shut the hell up and try and survive stop screaming and wimpering it was really annoying after the first 5 minutes into her scream fest

when you really want to focus on whats happening its impossible and the fact that they kept filming everything is SO UNREALISTIC! Like in Cloverfield, I would have dropped the camera a long time ago cause that would be the last thing on my mind if I were about to get eaten or killed or seeing someone else get eaten or killed, lol

I love this movie.Does everything you want in a scary /horror/thriller.Ya the main chick was very annoying for a while thereI was telling her to shut up. BUT had me on the edge of my seat!I dont understand all the film critics saying how bad it is compared to Relic,etc.WHO CARES if something else might be shot better?this did exactly what we want it to do.freak us out..watching and waiting to see what happens next.Sure we have an idea of what will happen but if you are watching it to enjoy the movie,you will like it i think.
usually I find "zombie " movies stupid,but this wasnt your typical zombie story.This really was a good "scary time" movie..makes you jump and yell at the screen
Acting is good enough and the premise of a shrinking universe is exciting . I'm guessing those who hated the camera movement never played FPS games but you know.. Anyway, I thought that their actions kept making things worse.

If i were them , i would have them gather all provisions and barricade in a room till the zombies die out of starvation instead of being in a wide open space. The government should have evacuated them out in small groups too.
i saw this a long time ago befor it first came out. i thought it was pretty good.the whole zombie thing. got to love zombies. well they were almost zombies. so i watched it again. jest ok.
I really dont read what ppl say bc everyone is entitled to their own opinion about this movie but if youre a REAL horror fan, youll love this movie!!
9/10 (9 bc it was a little like a documentary and also bc the beginning was slow) but overall the movie was good.

ppl kept on saying the main chick was annoying but if u think about, she was AWESOME! She portrayed fear and horror very well! I'm pretty sure, everybody acts somewhat annoying when they're scared. But that's part of your body calming you down.
Totally recommend it! Had me a bit jumpy towards the end.
this movie was like Blair with project, dawn of the dead and resident evil combined!! Very good, its got MY vote!!
jennifer carpenter is hot. but this movie was not. it was like watching blair witch project..(witch this movie could be a prequal, lol) just hope that part 2 is better..
And! There's no useless, momentum killing, audience pleasing, overused, inexplicable, fist-clenchingly awkward sex scene. That's right, you pervs, you don't get to say, "well, at least there's tits." Oh, i'm sorry, should I have put that in spoiler brackets? Well too bad, go whack it and cry yourself to sleep again, because there's only room here for good ol' gore and zombies. And if you're upset and don't want to watch the movie anymore, then you are the problem with the world today.
I'm Going To Defend This Movie. I Think It's Worth A Watch, Especially For Zombie Fans
I'm surprised by how low the rating is for this, and I think it's a little unfair. Usually, I would agree with all the comments saying, "Ugh they're so stupid." But you know what? I think this is how people would really react. Panicky, stupid and wanting to believe nothing is wrong until it's too late. It was gritty, and personal, with just the right amount of characterization to make me care about the leads.

I was convinced that the "killing with the camera" thing was going to become a gimmick, but they used it sparingly enough that it stayed tight and dramatic
So you know what? give it a try. It won't bring you to tears, or change your life. But, it will keep you on the edge of your seat, and interested if you give it a chance
This movie has potential to be good..but it doesnt live up to it. Mainly due to the fact that..well lets face it, the characters are all idiots. It's not a case of 'one idiot ruins it for the rest', its 'theyre all so stupid its amazing they lasted as long as they did." I think if they put a little more brains into this flick it would be so much more than a bunch of chickens running around without there heads.
well imma start off 2 say that it was an ok movie, but real annoying at times with the stupidty of others. y is it n zombie movies or movies when ppl are infected with something, and its clear they have something turning them. and it is still the couple of ppl that get real close 2 the diseased vicious person and ask the [erson are u ok, tthen bamm.. they get bit n the neck. so dumb.

i hate the female reporter she is so freakn annoying all she does is scream and cry the whole movie, she doesnt kill not 1 zombie and she got like 2 ppl killed trying 2 save her.then at the end i understand they was n the dark. but that black dude seened the zombie come right 4 him he couldeve killed the thing with the camrea duh
Your very right. I mean common for god sake that guy was a big guy, he saw the thing it didnt see him why wouldnt he just take his chances and kill it like he did earlyer in the flic
I can't believe how people do not seem to understand why the camera is crucial to the whole film. The jerky movemnets, blurry and sometimes dark scenes are to provide the suspence. A good Zombie remake. The whole plot was taken from movies like 24 days later, dawn of the dead and Rabid. Rec was a bit more realistic. I like the fact they left out the whole possesion thing out of this one. It would have been kinda silly his the reporter is the young actress from Emily Rose in which she was infact possessed. Hey and we actually get to see Max the Dog get some screen time as well.
This film did not need to be remade. REC is only a few years old and the only "problem" with it is that it's in Spanish, why can't people read subtitles? I'm English and I can do it.
Anyway Quarentine was only not awful because it was pretty much an exact copy of REC, just in America. They didn't even bring anything different at all, it's like they just didn't want to read subtitles and therefore remade it. Come on people, they brought nothing new to this story, why should they get praise for Quarentine? It's not worth it, I watched it simply to compare the two and they are almost identical. Go watch REC, it's the original and deserves the recognition.
