not even god can act better than de niro in that character.how does he changed his whole appearance,i have no idea.at one part,he is fit as a bull and in the next he has a big fat belly.that movie is real,authentic and superb.

Brilliant biopic, stunningly realistic fight sequences and
perhaps De Niro's 2nd best film, the first in my opinion,
being Taxi Driver. The rocky movies are dated, this is a
timeless classic; 5/5, no worries.
This is in my opinion probably one of the greatest most epic films about one man's life ever made. I think to call "Raging Bull" a "boxing movie" is like calling "Ben-Hur" a "chariot racing movie" in as much as it barely scratches the surface of what this movie is all about. Quite frankly the boxing element of the film(although vital to the story)is almost immaterial to me when compared with the other qualities of this film.
