In the early third century, the land of Wu is invaded by the warlord Cao Cao and his soldiers. The ruler of Wu, Sun Quan (Chang Chen), calls on the rival warlord Liu Bei (You Yong) for help, but their two armies are still badly outnumbered. However, the strategists Zhou Yu (Tony Leung) and Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) see that Cao Cao's army is unused to battling on the sea. With 200,000 men, Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang defeat Cao Cao's army at the Yangtze River.
This is what you call art, true art. It is so hard to find movies like this anymore. The ones that have you totaly engrossed from start to finish. The movies that grab at every inner emotion you have and takes you for the ride of your life. There is also a Part I you need to WATCH FIRST! BEST movie I have SEEN this YEAR..HANDS DOWN!
as good as the first film/part. john woo does it again. this was amazing film, the battles were amazing to watch from a tacticle point of view and all the little twists and turns made it feel like a modern motion picture, not a history lesson which i pretty much is.
watch this and enjoy it along side the first one.
Spectacular sequel, as good as the first film. One of the most breathtaking battles ever seen in a film. True strategy.
A story is at its best, when you know it's a true one.

Great movie, Thanks watch-movies, I saw part one on t.v. and was upset when they didn't show part 2. So I came to old faithful watch-movies-link.net and what u know you had part 2!! YES!! Hopefully u can get Part 1 on here as well.

Had a Warlords feel to it, but I enjoyied this one more. Of course you need to watch part 1 to understand the story, definetly one to watch if you like movies with Chinese history and good action battle scenes 5/5
