Call me primitive if you like, but I did not like this movie! I did like the acting, however, and it is nice to see that DiCaprio and Winslet are growing into serious actors.
But I simply did not get anything out of this film.. I just do not think that situations like that have to end the same way - there is always a way out.. The whole story and especially the ending did not seem very realistic to me!
this is a very powerful film.
granted, you need an attention span lasting more than a commercial to accept the full impact of this emotionally charged film.
i suspected the ending as soon as she ran into the woods.
this film is for those who are avid literature and films [of all sorts] fans.
hope you can enjoy this as much as i did.
I think, because I couldn't relate to it, I didn't think it was as good as I thought it was going to be. I loved Dicaprio's & Winslet's performance though.
i loved this film, and how great is leonardo Dicaprio, this film is good and worth watching, i do think that it takes a while to get into but it is worth it!!
well i give it 2/10, thats because there was only a few scenes i actually liked, the movie seemed pointless to me, boring and went on forever, ive never regretted watching a movie until now
Wow, where to start with this one. First off I'd like to say, Winslet and Dicaprio did it again and once again bravo! I had my doubts with this particular film, I figured 'Oh, its just going to be Titanic all over again. I shouldn't waste my time.' But, now that I've seen it, I realize this movie is excellent and fantastic. The entire plot was fantastic, I wish I could put my true opinion into fathomable words, but I'm clearly incompetant.
I guess overall the film was really good as well as the story line and so was the acting. But i found the ending was kind of really depressing although i still really liked it. And it was quite a complicated film in a wierd way and i dont really understand

as i thought it was ended quite wierdly and that much more could of really happened.
Oh, gosh, that was a terribly good movie. Heartwrenchingly good. I warn you. I was so deeply touched by that movie. I am so inspired. I felt so lonely..so..lost putting myself in their situation :'( :'( A must watch. That is an exstremly powerful movie. Well done Kate+Leo, you worked brilliantly together once again! Wow. I`m gobsmacked. The ending is soo sad and teary.

When the couple are falling apart and Kate is telling him she hates him and then Leo cries aww! She died, because..she wouldn`t be happy with his baby. She did a self abortion..she was bleeding everywhere
:( It was really sad because they both tried so hard to make it work. Ever since Paris-that one highlight in their lives was cancelled that`s when everything turned to ..
A very slow storyline that takes its time going in depth in the emotions of a young couple with different ideas about life, life presents us all with opportunities, but which choices we make is up to ourselves. A superior performance by Leo and Kate, a very moving film indeed, I rate it a 3+/5.
A little slow moving at times but well acted. The characters were well developed and had alot of depth and layers which I like in dramas. Worth a watch.
this is a good movie it shows how us mother's deal with a lot of things family home and other things and we never say nothing we just deal with them and keep on going but we need time for ourselves here and there but this movie is really interesting 4/5
A serious drama. It's just people tries not to think about the fact that their life is empty. Billions of people just existing. And then maybe some opportunity, but too different from all that wonted peace. So it disappears and you continue your existence behind the false smile. And try to impress yourself that that's just the way life is. And you have reason for that - just look around- how many of them are living that life which they wanted? Revolutionary road exists only in the imagination and that's sad.
wow..this movie is for ppl who have ever had a fight with their partner..married or not..it truely went through feelings i have felt and i almost cried through the entire movie..i've been reading the book which of course this spoils the book but i'm still reading it..so many ppl can relate to this and yeah they had whatever they wanted but you get into a repetitive life that has nothing exciting about it and you have that need for something new and exciting thats why they both ended up

because they needed to feel that adrenaline again..that butterfly feeling that eventually becomes bitter sweet because

any girl who has ever been pregnant knows how scary it is and if it is at the wrong time many things go through your head..i hate that it ended the way it did amazingly sad and really emotion grabbing movie..watch it when your in a bad mood because if your in a good mood then it will do nothing but ruin it..
This is one of the better films I have watched of late..
After being thoroughy dissapointed by B.Button this was a pleasant suprise. Even though it was smashed by the critics.. Kate and Leo shine on screen and demand your attention. It is hard hitting and not one to watch in peace however I do reccomend it and promise that if you stick with it you will find yourself engaged!

Yes I agree, you have to stick with the movie. In the beginning I was going to quit watching it because it seemed boring. Once I gave it a chance to develop, I was very happy with it. It is a good movie and Leo and Kate did a masterful performance.
THIS MOVIE STINKS !! Don't waste your time watching it! i wasted hours that i will never get back,i almost fell asleep in the cinema watching that movie! well partcially.. really sucked.. :l
I liked this film -- it was extremely sad -- the couple did not understand their lack of contentment -- they both lacked a certain compassion for one another -- their expectations for each other were too high -- and, in the end, they both suffered great losses --

Well,I watched the whole thing and realized about half way through what the ending had to be. I did enjoy the acting, and hated the ending. I'm not sorry I watched it, but I wouldn't watch it again. 3/5
