i thought the movie was alright ,nothing great and very predictible,,worth watching just for al pacino and deniro alone,but they difinately deserve to be in a classic and better movie together and not a mediocre one time watch..2.8/5
I am finally happy that I had the chance to experience this movie. I am happy that I did not pay to see it because this is a movie that can someone can wait to see. I thought I was getting to see two great actors at their best but this movie wasn't it. overall I gave it a 3/5
Pure TRASH!! I don't blame the cast, I blame the director Jon Avnet. What do you expect given his fame came from Mighty Ducks and George of The Jungle. The film never takes off, simply rolls around on the tarmac driving at your patients. You want to love the film and appreciate the team of Pacino and Deniro but you can't. The ending is figured out midway so the thrill becomes a wasted effort. I highly recommend not only preserving your time but also the memory of these two from other roles that brought them so much acclaim. This movie helped in reminding me that the cast is less as important as who the director is.0/5
Acceptable plot with a nice twist, and Robert De Niro and Al Pacino's first collaboration since Michael Mann's "Heat."
The rest of the cast was also very good, excluding 50 Cent.
Not brilliant, but definitely worth a watch. It's De Niro and Pacino, after all. 4/5 stars.
what can i say, pacino and deniro are like (to me) pizza with lots of cheese! love them both. great movie. even tho the plot was ok, the movie is still a must see! 5/5
The acting and actors are pretty much as good as it gets..Pacino and Dinero..that's all u need right?? WRONG! U also need a credible script!
Actors can only do so much! The script could've been better..waay better!
It just seemed like it was missing something. Maybe it was the dialogue, or the small budget..but something was definitely missing.
Or maybe I was just expecting to get that "feeling" that I got when I saw HEAT..all 60x's lol.
6.5/10 ..and I only scored it THAT high because the ending was good!
Well here they are playing cops again in the golden years of their career u would swear any film that has both of them together would be well, GOLDEN. but its not, at least not the material. Righteous Kill is like that girl or guy u have always liked but never got the courage to ask out but when u do its like u enjoyed the presence but not the convo, then ur left feeling un satisfied, u dont want to but u just cant help it. this might sound odd but i think this would have worked as a comedy with some sharp dialouge and a nice crime dramatic element, at this stage of their careers it wouldve worked sort of a Grumpy Old Men meets Rush Hour? Oh well needless to say this film isnt terrible but it sure feels like its missing ingredients, still just like that hot girl or guy the presence is worth the time.
Excellent movie, edge of your seat stuff from start to finish, plenty of twists.
One of the best cop/ thriller movies I have seen since Dirty Harry :).

De Niro & Pacino are what make this movie work. Although it seems like just
another cop movie; it's not. The twists, and turns keep the audience on the
edge of their seat. It's nicely paced, entertaining, with an uexpected end.
