chewing gum for the eyes, the sahara was a sea 140 years ago? moron food ! but great if youve had a curry n 20 pints..absolutely ridiculous without any connection to the real world and its rules of physics..
the movie didnt say the sahara was a sea - the ship got there thru a dried up river bed. Maybe you had chewing gum in your eyes and missed that part? hehe
Loved the Dirk Pitt books and the movie followed it pretty closely. Not bad sound track either! The way they showed Pitt in the movie is pretty much how i imagined him from the book. Hope they did more of the Dirk Pitt series - these are awesome!

In the book, the plane they find in the desert was Amelia Earharts and on the Texas, the ship they find, there was supposed to be the real Abe Lincoln. Anyway, just thought i would add that part for those who hadn't read the book.
This isn't the best movie out there, but if you like a little adventure with a little bit of mystery, then this movie is worth watching. I really liked it and it held my interest for the most part. Again, not the most intellectual movie out there, but good for pure entertainment.
I give it a 3.5/5 for it's entertainment value, even though I hate penelope cruz.
i cant stand the download speed of yoku, it's crap try finding a differant provider and i might watch.
I can't watch it skipping and stopping and starting can i?
good film but omg the loading times for versions one and two are totaly mad,
I left it running while I went out for an hour and after ten mins of watching it caught up again thats no fun at all,
but dont let that put you off watching this film,
watch it make ur own minds up.
