I usually don't like his movies, so I guess this is one of his best. He kind of reminded me of Elvis Presley. He looks a bit like that in this movie. Very nice and cute college movie. I think I saw that movie before!
Totally loved it. Love the romance and drama in it. Made me cry a lol and think of my husband. Though a romantic kind of guy like Cusack's character is one of a million oddity.
The Cusack's are two very exceptional actors and it is always wonderful to see them in movies together. This movie is definitely worth a watch, young or old!
I wish it had focused more on Diane and Lloyd, instead of Diane and her dad. That's what ruined it for me.
John Cusack is adorable. I want him to be MY boyfriend! :D I love the scene where he's hanging out with the other guys, it's really hilarious. After watching this movie, Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes is like my new favorite song.
if they don't find the first half, this flick is worth the two bucks to rent. i actually bought it for eight, so there ya go.
as for the film, classic awkward cameron crowe. the usual cusack-cusack, cusack-piven dynamics are wonderful, and i find somehow comforting. their familiarity is genuine and sweet. i love watching actors who care about in each other working together: they become more accessible to the viewer, more real.
also, my all-time favourite ending. no spoiler here, just curious if anyone else loved the last bit of dialogue as much as i do.. ding!
