This movie was an Okay movie. It is worth watching at least once. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. I think the acting was great but could have been hilarious if writin correctly
"Semi Pro" was pretty disapointing as it wasn't nearly as funny as other Will Ferrel films, it lacked an intriguing storyline, and it also lacked genuine characters. Ultamately, I would not recommend this movie to even the biggest of Will Ferrel's fans.
Only Will Ferrel can make a rather crappy script turn into a movie worth watching. Honestly if Will wasn't in this, it probably wouldn't even have made it to the big screen. Will Ferrell is just naturally funny!! My new bad word is now Jive Turkey. Lol!
To be brutally honest this movie didn't have a single funny moment in it, quite possibly Will Ferrell's worst. I like the "Love Me Sexy" single though.
If you like will ferrell movies then you`ll like this. Not as good as anchor man or step brothers but still a funny movie. And if you hate will ferrell movies then you`ll really wont wanna watch this film.
Aside from that song and the bear parts, could've this film been more boring?
I fell asleep watching it, urgh.
The more it goes, the more Ferrell is starting to lose my status of fan towards him.
Besides, I think he's had his fair share of uninteresting sport flicks.
I absolutely loved this movie! I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm an easy mark for movies of this caliber and I thought it was full of fun and light-hearted entertainment. You'll laugh, cheer and find yourself rooting for the guys without even realizing you are doing it!
And I agree, Love Me Sexy could've easily been a hit song!!
