I really like Maggie Gyllenhaal. There was a very good performance by her in a not so good script. I feel she pulled her character off very well which in turn held my interest to comprehend the plot of the story. I think you'll like this one.

I would have to say that the lady that
was taking care of Sherry's kid needs to
[SPOILER]
get over her jealousy .. and realize
that the child is not HERS and she needs
to call her mom .. MOM .. they drove her
to use again .. and EWW her dad caressing
her boob .. I got shivers it grossed me out lol ..
her family is def. dysfunctional ...
Gut renchingly sad, Sherry's father could do with a lesson in taking responsibillity for his daughters situation. Maybe if he had not have abused her as a child she might not be so messed up. At least she really wants to sort herself out and thats stage one, so she's on the right road. 9/10 for a great film, it shows people what it really is like out there for some of us.
one of the best dope films i've seen..most of them grasp the using part, but this one shows how hard it is to stay clean..very good..i def recommend this one..
