What a bad vampire movie. Bad acting, weak story, just flat out not worth watching. Wasn't scary in any way, towards the end it's like the writers gave up and just decided to turn it into a comedy. They should have made it that way from the start, cause it was a joke. 1/5

I give it three stars for carrying the story well, at least for the opening scenes.
And the actors seem likable.
Umm.. Can you say BAD ACTING, laughable at best. The back ground music doesn't help it. It sounded like the typical "B" movie back ground music. I guess I shouldn't be that suprised. Armand Asante must have been hard up for work to have taken this sorry gig. He doesn't make a believable vampire and should stick to seducing women his own age. Eww.

I will say that the caretaker was mildly amusing and so was her awakening scene. The scene with the baby carriage in the hallway was a bit creepy and let's just say I'm not a big fan of meat hooks, but "I know what you did last summer" utilized the meat hook better then this one did though. Yeah there were a few creepy scenes. Why do the two alterboys have all the knowledge of vampires? I'm glad you asked!! Because their alterboys of coarse. Duh! The movie's final climactic scene was ok, but leaves me with the question, "if he was resurrecting his father, then why was his father beating the crud out of him?" I guess it's true what they say, "a kingdom divided will fall".
The make-up for the resurrected demon dad from hell reminded me of that old 1970's movie "Gargoyles", only less hairy. As for the quality of the movie it was good in both audio and video. As far as "B" movies go, I give it 2/5. Nothing special.
It was interesting, had a few parts that were creepy, The player worked great, sound and picture. It's definitely worth a watch, If you like ancient vampire stories than this movie is pretty good for it.
