Ill forever be a fan of the oldie SW because its impossible to beat the original but this was a worthy attempt. I say this knowin im at risk of sounding like a geek for real but eat me. 3.5/5
First we see Annie and Padme falling in love,touching.Two lovebirds..The the action starts,sorry for not following order of things.Plenty of action,romance,fights what more could you ask?George did a great job!As with all Star Wars movies.Well done!
Anything I say here would be biased, since I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan & have been since the series started back when I was 7-8 yrs/old!! Have to say that I was disappointed when VII didn't take place. Everyone from IV, V, & VI are still alive.. not young, but still alive enough to read lines. I mean what with all the CGI abilities/fx available now-days, you would think using the original actors would be easy enough.. just a little touching up with some computer animation & voila!! LOL oh well.. it's nice to dream anyway. I attempted to watch the animated version & it was OK, but I'm already spoiled by the fx and splendor of as real as it can get vs. total animation. Like I said.. what can I say?? :-)
This is'nt proper star wars its garbage.Cg looks cartooney and not convincing.Had to laugh when Anakins mum dies the min she sees him."I love you,urgh".Very poor dialogue which could have been written by child.Lucus has lost it.Hes raped star wars and now raped Indiana Jones for money.The new films even detract from old ones as if he'd had cg old ones would have been crap like this.Very sad.Please don't make any more you tit.
this is a GREAT MOVIE and it does follow the books yea for some of you who dont read maybe you should the series goes as far as 40 years after 6 and yes some of the original actors would fit in today for there age but you would miss so much that yes whats the point even though the new jedi order and past would make 1-6 simply simple by comparison all i can say to any starwars fan is you are not a fan at all unless you read the next 70 plus books then you will have all you're answers and by the way lucus isn't the only writer by far 10/10
amasing film, of cource not the fist time seing it lol. as nerdy cults go this is a good one, i mean yea star treak is alright, but its just straght edge nerdy with not alot of action, atlest this nerd cult has lodes of cool action sceens. loves it
hayden christensen is such an annoyingly bad actor (i think) and it ruins it a bit for me but ewan mc gregor is good. Not as good as "the phantom menace".. and second to that comes the old series.
So this is: great action and animation, some good acting.. but lacking some of the old charme :/
i give this one a 9 out of 10 hayden christainsin is a ok actor but the origainal are a 10 episode 1 is a 10 and 3 is a 8 again anikin had bad acting my personal favourite is phantom meanace the final battle was amazing if they some how remade the first one so the lightsaber battles were faster they would get a 11/10 easy
i also wish that they made a 7th one. to show that everything worked out. but evil will still be there and maybe skywalker would have given the jedi a proper righteousness.
