This movie was actually pretty good in my opinion.
Not sure how I missed this one, but I am glad I watched it.
Also liked the actors, they all seemed to fit there roles nicely.
I would watch it again and would even recommend it to a friend.
So overall, in my opinion, I give it an 8/10
I really enjoyed this movie. It makes you think. What if this really happened? How would you do things? I loved the cast and the story was great 5/5 from me.
I loved all the dramatic moments in this film and the over all message wasn't bad at all, even if the movies plot line was a bit improbable. The little girl in this movie was amazing, I'm definetly expecting to see more of her. I know Bud was suppose to be the uncaring drunk hick but they took it just a bit too far with his turn around only happening over *1* day. The ending was disappointing with a bunch of loose ends (the hinted love interest between Bud and the journalist was just left hanging with no thought to how she wanted to leave the state) and it doesn't show which candidate he ends up choosing.

..not even a comedy tag can justify a script as shallow as this..wasted talent for sure, I guess when you reach a certain age you still must earn your living instead of gracefully retire (Costner & Hopper how can you forget your previous achievements ? who knows..2/10)
I totally agree, even though it had nothing to do with the story i still woulda liked it. overall i really enjoyed it and walked away with a craving for budwieser
I agree with the review below this one. It was a waste of my time. This film tries to be funny and fails. Coupled with the fact that it was totally predictable the film is almost sad to watch because it has some good stars and totally wasted the talent. Don't bother with this one.
In "Swing Vote", My vote would be called a huge disappointment just like this movie.. It's looked great, kept me entertained then about a little bit halfway thru closer to the end it just started losing me it became overtly predictable

The ending just pissed me off, they could have extended it by half an hour letting the viewer know who won and what would unfold shortly after-that would had brought this movie up..
instead it will remain at the lower end of the totem pole in regards to awesome political movies.. If you got time to kill then vote at your own risk.. 5/10..
this movie thought us one thing and that is politicians will lie to get elected its not about one politician or about one country its happening whole over the world politicians will say one thing and do an other..by the way the movie was good and all the actors did a very good job, specially that little girl she did such a beautiful acting

I really did enjoy this movie. It was real life issues about the average all American joe. I think that the fancy butt politicians tend to forget that is who lives in this America. I think the movie was done well.
I thought the movie was okay. Worth watching def. The little girl is adorable. I also liked Paula Pattons' character. I like her as an actress..think she's showing diversity.
For some reason, I kept forgetting to watch this movie on here.
Now I finally did and so glad that I watched it. I didn't actually expected
that I will like it but I did like it, actually I even loved it! Kevin Costner
did a great job. Most importantly the lil girl. She did a fine job. Great casting.

A really touching movie. Really shows how politics works out and how we the people make a difference. The ending leaves to much to the imagination but i suppose it actually makes it better in a way. Good soundtrack aswell.
