certainly not one of Travoltas best movies. And his stylist should be sacked for letting him loose on set with that haircut & beard! Nevertheless its a decent fast paced thriller with a few twists, to keep you guessing for about 20 minutes! But saying that definatly worth a watch. 7/10.
This is a movie that I'll never get tired of. The action, the acting, the plot.. It's just so perfect. Travolta and Jackman are freaking amazing as always.
The beginning and the end were great. In between is where it sucked. It is almost one of theose things where you're not sure if it is worth slogging through the - excuse me- absolutely stupid, hollywood, set up, predictable gratuitous action and chase scenes- (the kind of thing Travolta says is no good in the opening scene of all the irony!) just to get to a pretty cool ending.
It has Halle Berry topless though, and she is beautiful. It might be worth the watch just for her breasts..
Uh-huh! Nice action movie with excellent casting. If you have not seen "Swordfish," then get the popcorn ready, tap a cold drink and sit back and enjoy a good, ripping yarn, a four-stars production.
Awesome movie. An intense action-packed plot, with a nice little twist.
Superb cast with many familiar stars, including John Travolta, Hugh Jackman and Vinnie Jones.

When the DEA shut down its dummy corporation operation codenamed SWORDFISH in 1986, they had generated $400 million which they let sit around; fifteen years of compound interest has swelled it to $9.5 billion. A covert counter-terrorist unit called Black Cell, headed by the duplicitious and suave Gabriel Shear, wants the money to help finance their raise-the-stakes vengeance war against international terrorism, but it's all locked away behind super-encryption. He brings in convicted hacker Stanley Jobson, who only wants to see his daughter Holly again but can't afford the legal fees, to slice into the government mainframes and get the money.
liked it the second time must say .. didnt lik it the first time i watched it ..extremists will lov the one .. but i say u still cant tak life lik that .. good MOVIE ..peace o
A good example of a "thriller" with some nice "twists" which werent unexpected but executed well.
Solid cast with very good acting, the plot was unique and the nippy pace was perfect.
