Not the most original movie, but because it's based on a true story, it did give that real feel that some movies have. I'm a huge Antonio Banderas fan, so I was utterly amused by this flick.
Funny how the contest scene with it's set (decoration, lights, costumes) looks a lot like the end scene in Step Up (Nora's showcase).
great movie.. its wonderful how the story develops so well to show that people can change and learn from the good things in life even when life is rough. great dancing, kept me "on my toes".. haha was really a great film
Re-enforces the belief that all kids are good kids, if we could only find their strengths and believe in them. Prove that good, in any form, can only lead to happiness. Great movie! 10/10
i love it love iti love it..my favorite part was the end. God i wish i can dnace like that from the ball room to the hip-hop..i would kill to dance like that..lol..i love this movie..the favorite dance movies of all time..
