one don;t need to say anything about a piece of art like that.The movie ends ,but we keep thinking about it.One fact,I never knew de niro is that good looking.
I saw it 3 or 4 times at the movies when it first came out. Didn't get a very good response back then. One thing no one talks about is the great music, I bought the soundtrack at the time and still listen to it. If you love De Niro's performance you will love his acting in a movie called "King of Comedy" with believe it or not Jerry Lewis.
this movie has a simple complex that anybody who has been isloated can relate to now I don't know about takeing a chick to a porn theather but the rest is something we all can understand this movie is a classic
Damn, DeNiro looked so hot. & watching this movie reminds me of my father. Had the same attitude, living style, crappy job in NYC in the 70s. Amazing! & it also shows Sorcesce's brilliant directing.
Good movie, very shoking and..lets say original, deniro did it again, great performances. I wouldnt say its worth the watch..its a must, if you like movies,you cant go by this one, you must watch it. 8.5/10
All time classic.
At first, it's hard to work out if Deniro's character is actually a psychopath or just a quiet guy with violent tendencies. Perhaps he's just misunderstood. WRONG!! He's a cold blooded killer. Calculating, deceiving and deadly.
But psychopath or not, his character demonstrates a real conscience and finds a righteous cause to kill for.
Magnificent performance from Jodie Foster who I believe made her big screen debut on this flick aged 12.
Not exactly the most flattering role for a young actress but it sure shows her level of competence.
Brilliant film.
