dont ever ever ever ever see this movie 0/5 i fell asleeped in the first 1hr and when i woke up i saw , nothing , the movie has nothing to see i dont ever saw the last 15 mins of the ending because i knew its not worth, dont waste time. bad movie 0/5
if this film dont change your mind and heart about the world then you must be dead it goes with top ten movies ever made for me i dont remember how many times i watch this movie reccomended to all humans and aliens
This was a marvel back in it's day.
The special effects are a bit dated now and I think it's well overdue for a remake.
A brilliant story. Kinda like a cocktail of Cocoon and Close Encounters without the annoying old people or the theme tune that sticks in your head so much you have to bang it on the wall to get to sleep.

Ed Harris gives such a strong performance, as does the rest of the cast. Its a decent sci-fi with a strong romantic plot that holds it together. james cameron has a knack from underwater movies, the technology and the look just work so well. its all very good stuff. 8/10
I remember seeing this in the theatre when it came out and just loving every minute of it. Great acting, great script, terrific chemistry between cast members and lots of edge-of-your-seat moments. Definitely an all-time favorite and a classic (can it really be 20 years old now?). Ed Harris is just great (isn't he always?).
Grab some popcorn and settle in for a terrific ride.
This is totally sci-fi, and in that arena, well done and one of the best!! If you like the genre, invest the time - you will NOT be disappointed. Ed Harris is a great character actor, and sells the persona of every role he is cast.
Great movie when it came out, and it is even more awesome to watch it now, considering how much effort it took for the computer to simulate so much of the underwater affects back then.
