This is one of those movies where you have to love or hate it, there is no in between. The setting and idea were good, but delivery was off. Give a watch to understand for yourself what I mean.
This has the same effect as the old film Straw Dogs with Dustin Hoffman. Gary Oldman and Paddy Considine are a couple of my fave brit actors and this was a good drama-thriller.
You got to watch this movie !! It's so corny ! But It's Great ! The acting Is bad , The scenery , Not much , But woodsy , ! This movie Is so hilarious ! It's a story about a chick , Sorry , Maybe a chuck , because she's quite Rubinesque , and she spends the whole movie JIGGLING her T & A , she's very sexy ! No wonder she's appealing In backwood WHEREVER ! The whole thing Is predictable and really " CORNDOG " , But It's a lot of fun and extremely entertaining ! It's almost like " Deliverance " but not as sophisticated ! I'm sure you'll love It !
What is on here is TOTALLY different from what it's supposed to be, and it has to be one of the most stupid, boring, bad, movies I've ever seen. The ONLY reason I finished it was because I was doing something else while it was on.

this link is for a very low quality film, which was filmed in the 70's.. I don't think its the movie that its supposed to be here but maybe they got the year wrong its defenitly not made in 2007
I watched the 2nd one and it was a totally different movie with the same name. More of a horror/thiller than just a thirller. Set in the 70's. Didn't really like it, acting wasn't very good and the story has been told before about back woods people. etc.

The majority of the movie was good and had you wondering what was going to happen next.. but unfortunately the ending was terrible and seemingly slapped on which pretty much trashed the entire film itself
Can This Be An Alleghory Of Britain Following US Into Iraq?
I really liked this movie. It reminded me a lot of "Straw Dogs" until the end. And then I got this farfetched idea of how this could be interpreted as an alleghory of Britain's involvement in Iraq. Note the relationship between Norman and Paul. How Paul oversteps boundaries. The relationship between the tourists and the locals. And finally the confusing behavior of the little girl at the end. And then there's the opening and closing song (by Bob Dylan I believe). I know it sounds farfetchd, but it's a theory. Does anybody else see the analogy?
Oldman's "bigote" was out of hand. He is one of my favorite character actors so it was cool to see him in a smaller budget film. He always brings major chops to the table like in "The Professional" when he bites into those crank pills(uppers or downers no sabes) and does that body tweak. There are two hot chicks in this film and if you like women with English and Spanish accent(not mexican) than you'll enjoy this movie even more. The english broad and hot milf Espaņola did some decent acting. However, the English guy was a retarded coņo just like the perverted Spaņiard said but he did kill a few people. I still thought he was a retard though. I speak English and Catalonian Spanish and it was great to see Northern Spain's backcountry in this flic. The Spaniards from the bar are so typical of places like Santa Catalina and other small pueblos around the Province of Leon. Kind people but man do they have an old timer mentality. I've met people just like all of the brothers and the cousin Miguel. The one brother who was a tad bit of a pervert did an amazing part in the

. A little bit too much reality there but grossly entertaining. It was really funny when the pervert asked(in espaņol) the whereabouts about the Englishman with a retarded face.Lol Good movie I'd recommend it.
