I personally didn't think it was a terrible as people are saying ..i have seen much worse..a lot of the movie is predictable & many scenes borrowed (copied) from other boxing movies .. the fights could of been done better.. but this has a nice story .. Its worth a watch .. and like one of the other posters said this will probably appeal more to the younger viewers 3/5

This is one of my favorite boxing movies. There might not have a ton of action in the beginning, but neither does rocky or cinderella man which are also good. Some people don't like this movie at all and think it is boring, but I don't even get bored in the beginning when there is no action. The story line may seem so copied and lame, but to me it is a much more emotional and deep story line as every rocky film but the first one. I guess to like this alot you just have to be a teenager and put yourself in the main character's shoes.

i would rate that movie a 5 it was worth a watch the story aint that great a a bit too predictble and it wasnt really smart to kill the [SPOILER] coach since he is like one of the main characters oO and they didnt show what happened [SPOILER] later on but yeah it was a simple story and it wasnt really a big budget movie.

I'll rather stay with old good Rocky..ok but not entertaining and predictible..good for a 5 year old..not for a 30 year young one:))
But maybe its just me. Just a little flick..nothing behind..bad script..good storyline..but lot's of cuts and no real romance or feeling. Low cost underwriten waste of time..
