this is a pretty good old classic low budget horror,difinitelty a must watch if your a 70's horror fan.cronenberg has a way of doing his thing with alot of originality and weirdness with very good entertainment value..3/5
Another very good Cronenberg film. Bizarre and original story, and strong acting.
Although slow at times, the story does builds up to an excellent climax.
All in all, great job for one of his earlier films and a rather low budget, too.

I was enthralled by this movie when it came out originally as a young teen. Now that I am an adult I am even more fascinated by this movie. The topics that it touches upon at times in your face to the sublime are quite disturbing in some places. The ambiance this film emoted was excellent.
Great movie. Suspenseful. Original screenplay. Good acting. Good playback and sound was good too. The soundtrack added an extra kick to the suspense. Effects were ok. But this movie wasn't a gore-fest movie anyways. 4 out of 5 stars.
