well i am going to put this in my philosophy playlist because the book is so good a read and very thought provoking, having said that i didnt think much of the film and really it didnt do the book justice. to be fair though the story is a bit flat and its more the concepts and the spiritual perception of the book that made it powerfull. so really its probably not film material,
This movie shows nothing of the books true power in ones reading.. gosh.. i learned well.. I can't say I learned as I should say I realized I was right about so much by this book in life after reading it.. the movie was a super major effing let down if there ever was any..
Although It presents certain interesting ideas , It doesn't seem to lead anywhere but a sequel ! It's pretty lame really , but I give It 4 STARS anyway because of these insights of infinity ! Worth a watch .
a blend of mysticism and metaphysical fancies that blend to give an interesting movie. It almost reveals the great idea of God but brings an end more in the new new age thinking. I think you will like the movie, and I hope that it makes you think about the idea in light of religious truths.
Version 1 is the discussion between John Anthony West and Laird Scranton & version 2 is the movie. I am giving 4 stars for both the movie and the discussion. I actually enjoyed the discussion more than the movie. I also learned more from the discussion. The movie downloads VERY slow! Beautiful scenery!
after what seems like an eternity of attempts, I have finally been able to watch this movie.. seems kinda of slow on the story line.. this could also be caused by the length of time that it took to finally be able to see the whole movie.. nice concept.. it was fair that's about all I can say for it
Version 2 is not a movie. It is a scientific discussion of two men rehashing genitic and quantum physics throughout history. Still, I found it to be very interesting.
i've had the book sitting on my shelf for several months..the only reason i gave the first few pages a go was because a friend let me borrow it and i was under the impression that it was non-fiction..perhaps i'll take it back up one of these days
Oh wow, I read this book 7 or 8 years ago and it was a pretty good book. When I'm in the mood Im going to definitely check out what they have tried to create from the book.
