In the midst of war in Afghanistan, Cody Cullen (John Newton) is touched by a Christmas card sent by Faith Spelman (Alice Evans) from the small, picturesque town of Nevada City, California. As months pass, the card never leaves his side, giving him the strength to survive and setting him on a mission to find her.
I might have liked it if it wasn´t pushing American propaganda on the
wars the US have and are taking part in. The young people who are sent
to fight wars are only cannon fodder for the Elite who get a profit out of it.
I´m sorry, but there is no heroism in being killed for that profit.
And before anyone decides to insult me, I served in the US Army, until I realised what was REALLY going on.
This movie was just so beautiful. I loved it from start to finish. It's about love, family, loyalty and following your heart. I was so sad when it ended. 10/10.
I love this Holiday film about what the true meaning of Christmas is. I will always look forward to watching this every December, it is that good in my opinion. 4*
