Great all-star cast. DiCaprio did a great job. Plot was very good. It really kept you guessing which is great for movies. Most are just too predictable. The ending was something I would have never thought would happen. Great movie. Go watch it now if you haven't already!
A rare example of a remake being far batter than the original, although in this version Nicholson's character is based on Boston gangster James J. Bulger who is still at large and to this day on the FBI's 10 most wanted list...

I do have one question.. or more of peoples opinions.

Does anyone have ANY idea what was in the envelope that DiCaprio gave Damon's girlfriend at the end of the movie. Also why do you think Wahlberg killed Damon at the end?
I've heard there is a going to be a sequal.. I HOPE it's actually a good sequal and I hope it answers all of my questions.
I am pretty sure it was the proof that he said he had that the matt damon guy was the rat. The letter must have also told her to give the proof to the mark walberg guy because he was the only good one left that knew he was undercover.
I found it really annoying they used the f word so much in this film(probably like 30+ times), but it was pretty good. I wish they would have explained some things a bit more

Excellent movie. It was so damn good that the 150min movie didnt seem long at all. It seemed short instead! So wonderfull cast, man even the producer was Brad Pitt! Cat chasing mouse but mouse had a cat rat and the cat had a mouse rat! ha!
Anyone who doubts this movie may suck should not think that and just go ahead and watch it. No dissapointments Guaranteed! 4.5/5
I really enjoyed this film, it really keeps you guessing right until the end. The plot is really clever, draws you into the film beautifully. The cast is amazing, so many good actors in one film, that is always a big advantage when trying to tell a story. All round brilliant film, so good i watched it twice. 5/5
Guys to add to your information this movie is a remake of Hong Kong movie called Infernal Affairs i saw on Star movies and it was a classic Act better than the Departed. But cant take away the credit from this movie. Mega stars and a proven story line. 4/5
i cant believe i went this long without watching this movie, it was more than great .. it was one of the best movies ever and i never really liked leonardo dicaprio but this movie made realize what a great actor he is. the entire story and cast is just a recipe for success!!
Yes, it was ok [I thought Leo was actually better than Matt Damon -- kill me for that one].. and if you watched this or are reading this, give the original a try. Infernal Affairs has a cast that's just as good and, though it's a bit more involved/tricky, the overall is spectacular. Enough so that they followed it up with 2 other movies.
