You got to come to this movie expecting it to be stupid. I think thats what they were going for. Thats what turned me away from Napoleon Dynamite at first, but then I gave it a chance and was blown away. The same goes with this movie. I think the characters are great, I think the writing was brilliant, no way they could have casted this movie better. I would have to give this movie a 8/10 well worth the watch.
great , classic danny mcbride. just him acting as only he can. in this role hes a tai kwan do "instructer" and just an all around phoney guy who convinces himself hes grea..thats all ill say for now but give it it a try..its fun
There are a whole lot of people saying this movie is garbage. I just can't agree with you. I liked it a lot. Considering it's a low budget movie a couple guys scraped together. And it stars the great Danny Mcbride. It turned out alright by me.
better than any Ben Stiller movie (not including Something About Mary) any probably made for 1/10 the budget. If you dislike independant B movies that are supposed to look like B movies then you probably wont get it. Those who enjoyed it should watch Trailer Park Boys. 3.5 out of 5 stutters
Um, ?, I like that he told off the wife at the end but otherwise it wasn't very funny. I like the idea of an inept karate instructor and you'd think they would be capable of making it funny, but someone screwed up. I like the main character though - something about his loserness that I find appealing.

The movie is set in the same tone of Napoleon Dynamite.
Instead of teenage angst it's more of a mid life crisis movie with suburban martial arts.
I didn't hate it but there were a few times I stopped it to do something else.
There are a lot of funny moments that had me laughing.
The character Chuck "The Truck" Williams was a hoot.
Danny R. McBride is also in Pineapple Express.. He plays Red.
So I actually liked this movie. Not very fast paced and there isn't some gag every five minutes like most of ferrels movies. (sort of a mild dark humour sometimes) Don't go in expecting a typical will ferrel movie and you may like it. 8/10
I am always amazed at how hard it is to make a decent low budget comedy.The acting is very good for a film of this caliber,

except for the woman who plays the adulterous wife. During several scenes at the beginning of the film, she is shocking bad, and it takes away from the believability of the scenes.
OMG I love stupid movies.. but this movie is truly a retarded film - I hope it cost them $1.00 to make because it was a horrible horrible movie - don't botheer - even if you've seen every other movie on this amazing site -
i no it's a fly on the wall movie but hell no plz it would just be a waste of ur day/night use it 2 do sumthing better like watch paint dry or sumthin but plz just DONT!!
Sorry, people I usually like the low B quality movies. But this one I could only stand 5 minutes of.. maybe. To be fair I will try and watch it again. Maybe when I'm drunk. (LOL!!)
The thing is the acting was supposed to be bad, because in the film he isn't an actor its like a fly on the wall doc type thing thats why it looks cheap but its supposed to.
If you like the office (UK) you will like this film for the first 45 mins it does drag a little but i loved it, some people probably dont understand it but thats nothing to be ashamed of.
i think there is something wrong with me. this movie is great. if you dont like stupid movies stay away. but if youve seen redneck zombies or phill the alien and enjoyed them then this is one for you. 4 of 5 loss of one point for the choppy editing.
Is lame the right idea? Or so funny you just don't know when to laugh and when not to.. I am torn, it was ok, but not the best. Watch for yourself and then decide.
