It's not a true story but it is loosely based on the Gambinos and such.Very well researched. And yes you are absolutely right about the Frank Sinatra situation. It's pretty much an homage to a what happened with Frank and the mafia.
WOW!! i regret watching this part.. it's so sad..that's the saddest death i've ever watch in my whole life.. best trilogy i've ever watch, still killing my nerves after the ending..
Such an awesome movie. They ended the triligy well. (Made me cry).
Michael's final death is considered to be the falling curtain of the entire show, forever.
The third was the last; If they make a 4, then they will kill the triligy.
I loved the first and the second. I watched this one immediately after watching the first two, in the same day. I am attracted to this movie that much. Oh I love it so bad. I adored him for being so strong and cold blooded. Love to see the trilogy again and again. 10/10
CLASSIC!! without a doubt, one of the greatest movies ever made. everything you need to know about life, you can find in the godfather. these movies speak the truth about life. what to do, what not to do... family comes first, to judge with reason. keep your friends close and your enemies closer. dont hate your enemy, it clouds your your judgment. dont let anybody know what youre thinking. its not personal its just business... stuff like that. LOL☺;

i like how the trilogy ends with michael dying of old age, alone, in his homeland of sicily. it's sad but fitting.
...ONE OF THE GREATEST STORIES EVER TOLD, INCREDIBLE CAST, CLASSIC MOVIE. watch it!! 10/10
Not as excellent as the first two but nonetheless a great film which rounds off the story nicely. Only poor bit was Sophia Coppola's acting which was wooden at the best of times. Stick to directing is my advice for her.
