Is this movie based on the "Bloody Benders" - A family of serial killers that owned an Inn back in the 1800s?? Kate Bender is right on but the description seems a little off. Anyone??
The easiest people to scam are scammers. They figure the rest of us are way too stupid to be running a game on them once we stumble onto them.
Crazy Johnny killed the hook who went in first.
Think about it, you'll see, they took his bait without getting the barb, then the pros went to work. Ordinarily I'd put a spoiler before that information, but true to the legendary Grifters of old, you won't see it till it passes you, so I'm not spining the dime.
Some parts of this movie had a horror base, it was deep and the Twist rode it out, but we'll never know where the mutt came from, was it the gyp's littermate?
Well acted, and beautifully staged, a worthy follower in the tradition of the Route 666, Motel Hell, and The Texas Deathtrap.
Not quite enough splatter and rip for today's slasher fans, but you can bet several of the characters found another type of horror, fade to black.
All in all a good movie, just the female lead is worth buying this DVD for..if that ain't what women are supposed to look like she was one splendid mistake.

Not a bad movie it's interesting cuz it's set in the hills in the 1940's and is abouit lying cheating and swindling people out of their money ,, like the sting ..neither a bad movie or a great one it's easy to watch and enjoy ..
No it's not a a horror movie and is probably just incorrectly listed as one ..good thing because i hate horror movies ..most are just bad flicks imho 6.85/10
Just drama!
No horror or thriller.
The movie came up short in my opinion.
Strange editing style.
It had a few flaws but also had the potential.
It had all the ingredients..
Maybe it should have been put together differently by someone else.
