A high school swim champion with a troubled past enrolls in the U.S. Coast Guard's "A" School, where legendary rescue swimmer Ben Randall teaches him some hard lessons about loss, love, and self-sacrifice.
THIS MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.! A MUST SEE MOVIE!! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!! 9.8/10 Ashton Kutcher did excellent in this film. The ending was just great. It keeps you interested from beginning to end, not one bit of disappointment!!
An absolutely amazing film that grabs you from the moment it opens and keeps you enthralled until the last moment. Once again, Kevin Kostner blows us away with a phenomenally good film. Ashton Kutcher shines as the heir apparent.
Wasn't really the biggest Astin Kutcher fan I thought he was really over rated but then this and Butterfly effect came out and changed what I thought of him. Of course Kevin Costner is the man as well, good movie.
As a military brat raised on kodiak, it was interesting to see hollywood's view. Nothing in the movie was familiar. It felt more like a marine's movie. Other then that, It was awesome!
That's a movie I liked way more than I thought I would. Regret that waited so long, just wish we had more options to view it. I won't watch Youku and do not really like Tudou. 9/10
This was great, I found it entertaining from beginning to end. Awesome story! I know what I want to do with my life..but its not a Coast Guard swimmer, looks pretty cool though. 9/10
I remember sitting in the theater when the Guardian came out, on the verge of tears and finally knowing what it was I wanted to do with my life. I love this movie (and that it's located in my home of the Great Northwest!) It's inspired me to work everyday toward my dream of becoming a helicopter rescue swimmer for the USCG.
