because they made some awesome movies.
this script is about bored, depressed and dissapointed housewives.
acting is good. but that's useless with this script.
I loved this movie, it moved me. From the beginning I knew it would be good, it was very well written. I could really feel the actresses/actors emotions. It is a slow heartfelt movie, so there will be people who love it and who don't like it at all. Very moving.. 5/5
Wonderful film The three women are not only outstanding actresses but they bring a new light to this story with all their feeling and really getting into their part. I loved it!
It is one of the most boring films I have ever watched!! I skipped some parts (actually I didn't watch most of the movie..) cause it was driving me crazy with all those pointless dialogues!! I couldn't stand it!! I only wanted to watch the end, cause I heard there is a twist or something, but it sucked just like the whole movie!! I honestly don't understand why would someone like this rubbish!!
Wow, what a beautiful film! I really enjoyed Nicole Kidman's character. I didn't know it was her b/c of the nose, then I took a second look. I loved every actress here, nice film!

not really my cup of tea but i still find it very interesting. it's too tragic i think.. the characters felt like they can never find happiness. well life can be happy if you just learn to live with yourself. be content with simple things. key to happiness: lowered expectations.. LOL
The film deals with a deeper meaning of happiness, I dare to say that it's topic is too philosophical..so it's not about being happy in our trivial material world, in that case it's normal that we can find our happiness in a fresh new house or in a good meal..but here the matter is different.

Yes, I agree with kingamask. The movie deals with happiness in a more subtle way. It highlights that happiness is something that you have no control over and sometimes its compressed into seconds, minutes. Human existence, if you truly dare to look it into the eye is a dramatic one. Of course you can avoid to think about it and indulge in seeking out joys and excitements, but these are neither genuine happiness, nor do they solve the discrepancies we honestly speaking can face within our lives.

This is one of my favorite movies. One of the most depressing and heart wrenching. It is acted beautifully by the whole cast. I have watch this many times and still cry each time. I see not that many people have watched this..I STRONGLY urge you to, it's a beautiful film.
