As a writer and director, Jada Pinkett Smith tried hard but just couldnt cut it with this one. Too many skeletons holed up in the closet for too long.
The beautiful Paz Vega portrayed her sultry role well but Jason Clarke didnt quite hit it as a brand management expert.

This film is to me what film making is all about; it is beautifully paced with enigmatic glimpses of past life forming experiences. The screenplay & directing draw you in to this tale of life, love, sex & obssesion to a degree that is normaly beyond the reach of American movies; into the realm of a domain that is usually exclusive to European films in general & French films in particular. The acting perfectly portrays the story to the viewer & the cinematography enrichens this wonderfull film in a subtle yet talented & understated way. I hope you enjoy this artistic journey as much as I have. 9/10.
Stylish, sexy, a film you do not want to miss, if you are a fellow discerning viewer starved for drama with ambiguity and depth. Jason Clarke plays Red in "Pubic Enemies", and is in" Death Race". Paz Vega is hot, beautiful and real. The directing, screenplay, and the quality of acting are all state of the art.
This film written & directed by Jada Pinkett Smith was in the end about redemption I think. At times I felt very sad and a bit frightened. It was darkly erotic and filled with style. It reminded me of Damaged with Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche.
I really enjoyed this film, in the beginning I thought it would be an just another bad low budget, but about 20 minutes into the plot I was completely immersed, a tale of deception within a love story and so much more, I highly recommend it and rate it a 4+/5.
