I'd give this movie a 10/10, this movies displays what heroism, bravery and loyalty to it's full extent. I really enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to any1 who likes history/war/drama movies.
good acting but garbage story, excuse me but one American soldier kill few samurai with bare hands..hahahah pure garbage 1/5 , worth of watching if you are SF fan
unfortunatly I didnt rate this film above 2 stars, not sure why as I normally like historical / war films etc but this just quite didnt do it . maybe it was too long drawn out, or something else I cant quite put my finger on. so not very good in my opinion..
what an awesome movie!! I always had interest about Samurai soldiers. This movie gave a perfect picture of Samurai soldiers and how they die with honor. Great storyline. Super acting by Tom.
i have seen many movies, soo many, i learned two languages by watching movies with subtitles in my native language (learned to speak fluent Italian and English), but i haven't seen this before, this is a movie that cannot be commented, it is superb in all possible / existing dimensions, it is the only movie ever that i would watch two times in a row 100/100
Though Tom Cruise isn't my favorite actor out there, he truly does pull through in this movie. And even though this is not the most historically accurate film, it's better than Mission Impossible nonetheless. ha
I enjoyed this movie. I cant believe I have now seen it and not before. I would have given it a 10 if i had some subtitles. It was a bit confusing witout them, but it was a great movie. I recommend it. Tom Cruise is a great actor but i think somebody with japanese decent wouldve fit the role a little better but w/e lol. :)
THEY DIDNT JUST DIE THEY DIED WITH HONOR AND PRIDE AND GLORY OF THEIR CULTURE AND THEIR ANCESTORS WITH THAT IN NOW EVERY SAMURI IS TREATED WITH RESPECT AND NO MORE CONFLICT WOULD ME PUT ON THEIR OWN RACE AGAIN. BEST MOVIE
