This is a brilliant film, from start to finish. Christian Bale is quite possibly one of the most dedicated actors to his art there has ever been. This film is dark, gritty, thoughtful and intelligent. There are obvious comparisons to Memento that you can make and yet you can't really compare this movie to anything else out there! A def fav of mine & one I have watched at least half a dozen times. One thing tho, watch this flick when you're partied out & in need of an intelligence fix. You'll see why..
Another good MindF of a movie. It's obvious what's happening. The twist is 'WHY.' Reminds me of "Chasing Sleep" with Jeff Daniels but much better.

this movie was one of the best, most intruiging, most amazing, most interesting movies i have ever watched..kept me on the edge of my seat..just phenomenal and Bale was awesome, he lost soo much weight and managed to look so creepy.
Bale's perpetually confused/cheezed off expression in this was hilarious. Spooky bizarre movie, eerie music. Great acting, superb. The depiction of everyday events becoming surreal was bang-on , for people who don't get much (or any) sleep

Christian Bale is one of my favourite actors and this has to be one of his best performances - and that's saying alot, as he's brilliant in everything.
I know almost everyone else has already said it, but I can hardly believe how freakishly skinny he became for this role.. true dedication indeed.

I connected with the main character pretty well, I often go days without sleeping, never beyond six though. A pretty good movie, I recommend watching this while under insomnia for full affect.
Bale's dedication to acting, the weight loss, just amazing. 5/5 stars, I recommend watching "Bringing out the Dead" to everyone that liked this.

i would say this is one of the strangest movies i sat through. the end was the only part that made it worth it. your time would be better spent on any other movie. 1/5
