wow. ok i know this movie is a remake but i see no need to watch the original. denzel is always perfect and the supporting actors are all a list too. 9/10 amazing
Excellent mind twisting thriller and a top-notch cast, based on the 1959 novel by Richard Condon, and a remake of the 1962 film. Intriguing plot that held my attention all the way through, Meryl Streep plays the part of a senator and the manipulative, ruthless mother and Liev Schreiber plays her son.
Not that bad. I would have like to have seen a ending that extended to the doctors and more of a coming out including all the key players. Not sure what the original was but this was alright be us. (Me and my wife)
agreed, the body of the movie was awesome, but the ending felt really weak; i wish the conclusion would have tied things together better - now the whole thing just feels so incomplete and confusing

but more of a confused
"..ok, so what happens now?"
if that makes any sense
i also feel that since it IS a thriller,
more scenes should have expanded to the nightmares
I've never seen the original, so I have nothing to compare it to. But on its own, it is amazing. I was captivated the entire time by this story, and a little freaked out. The performances are also quite good.

I am a big Denzel fan this movie just was bad i will say denzel first flop if he wasn't in this movie i rate'd this movie 1/5 Stars.
creepy, but too lengthy and a bit unfinished. And it seems to take its point a bit too seriously, becoming not original but paranoid. This is what would happen if in that A beautiful mind movie Russell Crowe's pentagon delusions were the actual reality
I SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN IT WAS NEW AND I WAS UNIMPRESSED. BUT I WATCHED IT AGAIN TODAY AND I REALIZED WHAT AN EXCELLENT FILM IT IS. GREAT STORY LINE, OF COURSE GREAT ACTING. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WITH DW IN IT, IT HAD TO BE GOOD. WATCH IT!
This was an excellent movie Denzel does it again, however I was a little disappointed in the ending, because justice wasn't served as I wanted. which would have made the movie more gratifying, but regardless this is a very entertaining suspense thriller and Meryl Streep proves again why she isan actress to be respected, she earned it.
really good performance from Washington, love the film. Seen it a few times now i remember when i 1st saw it, i thought it was freaky and i like the part where the guys wardrobe opens up into a wierd little room gr8 stuff ! 5/5 btw that older guy who helps washington its him off Downfall who plays Hitler i think,,?
