this movie was very touching.. too bad i didnt finish watching it, with version 5 missing which is the end of movie!! someone posted a link to the last one but its no good.. if someone can find it or post it up itll be very nice.. ill come back mayb somethn will b here by then.. thnx n advance

i personally think he should have changed his name back to gogol after his father died
besides it teaches you that people we meet and make bond with are not forever , so respect each relation.. cause that so called regret is too much for this life.. njoy
THis movie is awesome i love watching movie with my culrture because in canada there issent much of it and i grew up with the canadian culture witch is awesome but its nice to know how stuff works for my family in fiji (there east indian)
i have this movie and i love it soo much.. i do relate to it. my father is islamic and was born in lebanon. sometimes you just feel so different and then you find that that difference that you feel is just normal and that you really arent different at all.. you just need your own approval and no one elses.. i found that it takes losing alot to find that out just as this movie shows.
I don't think you have to be indian to relate to this movie. If your family is from another country you can relate because alot of us go through the things the main character Gogol goes through. It is a great story , with alot of meaning and depth .
A beautiful movie. My only complaint is that there aren't any English subtitles. The movie is about a family of Indian immigrants and their American-born children, but very little of the movie is spoken in English, (English is their second language) even though most of the movie takes place in New York. If you watch carefully, even with the language barrier, you can figure out what's going on. I think it's very much worth a watch.
I rated this movie 4 stars and 2 thumbs up.
