this is the only romance/drama I really liked cause of the terrific acting and direction, with beautiful scenes, and a great story, gotta give it a 9/10
This is one of my favorites.. On the DVD box it says "Sometimes the greatest distance traveled, is the distance between two people." I thought that fits this movie so well. Although sad, I really couldn't see any other way for the movie to end. Also for those who don't know (not like it has anything to do with the movie itself ) this is the set on which Naomi Campbell met her future husband (homewrecker in the movie) Liev Schreiber.. 9.5/10
What can i say, absolutely amazing storyline with so much depth and emotions. Very sad, it almost had me in tears 10/10. I loved it and would definately watch again

i started watching this movie because of edward norton..im a big fan but as the mvie played along i quickly realized that this is the best romantic movie i have ever seen, it was soo sad, i actually cried. 5/5
Great movie, although has not quite best edition at first, it catches on immediately. Version #1 was fast but, the complete credits I found in version #5.
Loved the presentation images at the beginning.
THE PLOT AND THE MUSIC WERE PERFECT. Human nature and frailty..sigh. I love every moment in this movie because it is a slow and steady build and in its unveiling shows us the diversity and complexity of the characters. We often make mistakes in life much like these characters and in a relationship no matter the circumstance both parties are culpable for their actions: cause and effect, effect and cause. Gladly in the end we can see ourselves more clearly by what we choose to love, we grow immensely when we choose to forgive and nothing is impossible when love and duty lie in the same path and allows us to be our best selves.
I liked this movie alot. Even nowadays the relationships pictured between the two partners is very actual. Loads of people blame each other and then try to get revange. I wonder if it's based on a book/semi-fiction. Reminds me of another movie, but can't remember the name.. about a young man and a woman crossing china/japan with orphans.
He taught her to be responsible and she taught him to forgive.Great scenes of rural china.excellent character dynamics and study of human nature in all its forms.An excellent movie with a strong message co-operation without forgiveness is futile.
