Very good movie, one I highly recommend. Only thing bad that happened was I was near the end of the movie, & we had a perfect storm here, knocking our power off line..lol So I missed about the last 5-10 minutes as a result. Still, I saw enough to know this movie is a winner. A solid 4/5 rating.

How did I miss this when it came out, this was a really good movie. It would of been better if I watch it some place other then Youku. But, I still give it 5/5.

In October 1991, a confluence of weather conditions combined to form a killer storm in the North Atlantic. Caught in the storm was the sword-fishing boat Andrea Gail. Magnificent foreshadowing and anticipation fill this true-life drama while minute details of the fishing boats, their gear and the weather are juxtaposed with the sea adventure.
Based on the true story of the Andrea Gail, a captain George Clooney puts together a group of fisherman and heads north to get the big catch.. very well acted and moving story, keep a box of tissues nearby !

lol waves can be over 100ft high tusonami if thats how you spell it lol thats a wave and they can reach that high i think but very good movie 5/5 for me
