I love magic and this was incredible. Shows how far people would go for secrets. Really kept you guessing how things would end up. Even towards the end some might not figure out what has happened.
Borden was Fallon and vice versa. They were twins and they switched their roles the entire movie. That's why Borden/Fallon didn't remember what kind of knot he knotted (Robert's wife) and that's why he was so good at his trick. And Fallon loved Olivia where as Borden loved Sarah and his daughter. So.. the Borden/Fallon you saw dying in the end in prison, that was Fallon. So Borden went back to his daughter. And as for Robert, every single time he did that trick, he had to kill himself - or rather his clone. That's why he kept saying "no one likes the mad inside the box" or something like this. And the fact that Borden/Fallown were twins, that was his secret. But Robert found it out just before he died. He realized they were twins. And Cutter (M. Caine) he helped Borden.

i don't know why i waited so long to watch this movie , it was great , wonderful plot and actors keep u guessing till the end very obsessed with magic thats what i like and the ending was very good . i enjoyed it alot 10/10
I really liked this movie. It took a couple of times through to get the whole plot at the end, but still, it is quite exciting and unpredictable. Overall a great movie. 9/10
this movie is incredible. the twisted and shocking things the characters go through and sacrifices they make is what drivews this flick. Great job from all the actors and great writing and directing from Christopher Nolan. he really is one of the best out there nowadays. he knows how make a twisted tale of a movie that always shocks you. juswt brilliant, an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE!!
I like the acting and the movie in general. The plot is horrid though. It's very "unrealistic" to go so desperately for something that is not worth as much as they are in real life but then again, it's just a movie so..4/5
Good movie..worth watching 7/10. If you haven't seen "The Illusionist", i suggest you should also try to watch it. It's so much better.. but I also like this. :)
I never saw the original series either but it's a great movie, you like the characters from the beginning, the story it's interesting and keeps you watching until the end.
A really first-rate film and a “must see” in my opinion, Michael Caine and co. play the roles well, an intriguing story line, just do yourself a favour and watch this film now, you won't regret it, I rate it a 5+/5.
If you like this film, then watch "The Illusionist" too, it is just as excellent.
