it's so annoying, I totally knew her partner was gonna die. it always happens to the sidekick/good friend, especially right after the audience starts to really like him..uch
Surprised by this film it's a great supernatural horror, with a brilliant story and acting. Hilary Swank is excellent in the lead role aswell as sexy. It's Slightly cheesy towards the end but a few good twists in the story save it 4/5..
man!from looking at all these comments,i thought i was going to watch something great,but while watching this i couldnt help but to think if hilary swank wasnt in this it would of being a straight to dvd,cause i remember this being in the theaters a while back,and boy im glad i didnt go see it then.sorry, not good!!1.5/5

Movie keeps you interested - wanting to see how the next plague would materialise and the twist at the end was good.

the ending of a film can turn a two star movie into a three star one, IMO. this is one of those films. it was pretty good throughout. it kept you guessing with enough suspense to make it interesting. that is, if supernatural thrillers are your thing.

evil kid movies are not necessarily my favorite but then again she wasn't evil was she. oh, and i just knew the black guy was gonna die. i just knew it. LoL. Me, Hillary, hottub, nuff said.
I didn't understand the whole prophecy thing that could've been explained a lilttle better, but all in all this one freaked me out. Good plot, great acting..7/10
Good movie. With the ending, I wonder if there will be a sequel. 8/10. However, I had trouble trying to watch it and had to go to several sites to do so
I am a big movie buff, but I still watched it to the end. The sad part is I saw the trailers for it and thought it looked like crap and wouldn't be bothered with it till like a few months ago when I watched it all the way through and straight LOVED it.
Biggest collection of movie-cliches ever. The little girl annoyed the crap out of me. And why doesn't she talk at all? And, of course, her best friend had to be a black guy. Plus the 'interesting' stranger that she ends banging. What do you actually get to see in this movie? Some dead frogs, lot of blood creepy crawlers and an insanely naive woman whose character has been used more than the whore of babylon. Skip it, spend your time usefully.
A good storyline and well produced, starring Hilary Swank, David Morrissey, Anna-Sophia Robb and Stephen Rea. Before and during the making of the film, sceptic investigator Joe Nickell was consulted. The type of sceptical investigations by the film's main character was roughly based on Nickell's investigations of the paranormal. The plagues as they appear in the film are out of order compared to the Plagues of Egypt as they appear in Exodus. I reccommend watching it and rate it a 4/5.
Really good film cant belive i have not already seen this, great story, acting and the way the hole thing works, definitely worth a watch if you like this sort of thing 5/5
