i put off watching this cause i was expecting cheesy and sappy but this was amazing. 5/5 almost the same portrayal of blacks & whites in the 60's but yet different somehow. i did tear up a time or two go figure a must watch
well it was good and i have been waiting to watch it for a very very long time. its very depressing thou. other than that the acting was phenonmenal and the storyline was carried out beautifully.
i loved the storyline, i love the people the've casted, i just wish that lily's mother had more lines.. but that's just me loving who she played on One Tree Hill (A) however, this is a movie to watch! i loved it and i'm sure you will too ^.^ so 5/5 for me
I am not sure I agree with the way white people were portrayed in this film. I think they could have don't it wilth a little more taste. however the acting was excellent and the storyline amazing 4/5 stars..
This movie will definetly make anyone cry very insperational and just WONDERFUL and it is a shame to see how it was in those kind of times and it broke my heart to see..well watch the movie 200/200
A very good movie, very touching and uplifting, deep feelings and thoughts expressed in a simple way. I love movies in which the characters life, and thinking changes.
