On one last road trip before they're sent to serve in Vietnam, two brothers (Handley and Bomer) and their girlfriends (Baird and Brewster) get into an accident that calls their local sheriff (Ermey) to the scene. Thus begins a terrifying experience where the teens are taken to a secluded house of horrors, where a young, would-be killer is being nurtured.

this is just a horror movie, not based on anything at all in real life, didn't you read the that part in the movie when it say this?? the story your talking about thats true is where he used a chain saw to cut up the dead bodies to hide them . he did not kill them with a chain saw
leatherface is a fictional charater guys not based on a true story. they just got the gory ideas from one. i reccomend you guys watch the movie "ed gein" thats a true story.

he diddnt murder a bunch of people he only killed to woman one was found in his barn hung upside down and gutted like an animal. the rest of the bodys they found werent murdered he dug them up from the plainfield cemetary he was a canabal he used there skin to put over his furnature and had his freezer full of womans sex organs. and he used there sculls or craniums for soup bowls when they went in his farmhome he had a human heart in a pan ready to be cooked. hes dead now of coarse but he was still a sick dude.
i seen his grave site the tombstone is missing but his mother,father and brothers are there and can you believe people acshually put flowers on his gravesite. he died at a sitriatric hospital and the nurses or whatever described him as "sweet" wow yeah sweet guy who eats ur face!!
IS IN FRENCH WITH NO SUBTITLES. I CANT EVEN TELL YOU IF IT'S THE SAME MOVIE BECAUSE IT DIDN'T LOOK THE SAME, VEOH WORKS, IT'S IN ENGLISH. VERY GOOD MOVIE FUNNY PARTS AND BLOODY, NEVER HAD SEEN THIS ONE I DON'T THINK THIS IS A CHAINSAW MOVIE, NO CHAINSAWS ARE USED, IT'S MORE ABOUT PRO WRESTLING AT THE END 3/5
This movie is one of my favorite movies of all time, I own this one and have watched it over and over. This prequel gives a great basis for Leatherface, it answers the who, what, when and why. Watch you may become a fan too.
overall i thought it was a pretty good movie but i found it to be a bit repetive and left me bored at some points. that family is seriously messed up though! omg
Overall I've give this film about 60%.
I wouldn't watch it again or reccomend it to a friend. After the initial character introduction stage, it soon falls into the over-familiar patters on chase, capture, escape, chase, capture and on and on. I found I couldn't be bothered to pay attention after the first forty-five minutes. The characters weren't beleiveable & the setting was like something from a 1970's haunted mansion flick.
Loved it. In my opinion, this one did a better job of capturing the feel of the original. The origin storyline worked plus they stepped up the blood, gore, and violence. R. Lee Ermey is just a blast to see in this one. The scenes involving Monty are brutal but just so OTT hilarious! 5/5 stars
an incredibly powerful movie with blood guts and thrills. a brilliant horror which just proves the fact that horror is in fact NOT DEAD! read my in-depth review on it and reply to tell me what you think :) also visit my playlist 'THE PURE HORROR COLLECTION' and don't forget to rate. **10/10**
I dont no about this one, i mean the acting wasnt bad or anything just to me it was a little bit slow. But i dont no its good dont get me wrong but in my opion its missing something that the first had. Just cant put my finger on it. 3/5
