Considering how long ago this was made, the special effects, explosions and car crashes are good. Pretty good movie. I'd give it a 9.9, but I don't like Sheen. 9/10 for me.
I am surprized..I honestly thought this movie was gonna be horrible. It turned out to be pretty good. Kind of took me back to my childhood days of the 80's. Glad to have it as part of my repertoire now.
Watched for the second time since the 80's and loved it. I forgot a lot of it, but still had me clued to the screen. Love Charlie Sheen, so happy that he go help for his problems because he is a wonderful actor.
this movie was a sure fire hit from the jump.. although i don't know how much it grossed. it was WAY before its time, and should either be re-released, or remade. this movie is one you need to have in your collection.
I don't know how well it would have done in the theater in it's time but I bet you it was a drive in triple feature that people actually stuck around to watch.
A very good 1980's film, It's a remake of one of Charlie's dad Martin Sheen's old movie. When he was a Hollywood heart throb. Bad guy's loose and the good guy prevail's.Worth watching.
I was born in '82 and I remember seeing this on video. It was awesome then, and it still is. I agree with Abdur360: it should be remade. I dig '80's music, but I think it was a bit too lyrical to be used as a soundtrack. VENGEANCE SHALL BE SHEEN'S (though he does make to goofiest sex face that I've ever seen in a movie)
