This was a very good movie. It would have been nice to watch it again, but for some reason Youku now blocks my "region," so nothing from Youku can be seen.
when you understand the ways of The People, you will understand this movie even more, but even if you don't know their ways, its a very good movie. I've been looking for it on this website for awhile. glad someone posted it. its a hard to find in video shops, i find.
For some strange reason I didn't particularly like this film when it first came out. Then I saw it on cable and once again just now. In my opinion its an overlooked gem with a great story, cinematography, and cast. It's based on a true story which makes it even more compelling. 4/5 stars
