mindless action, terrible accent acting, horrible storyline, nothing but a bunch of overblown nonsense with eye candy to keep you watching so you don't realize how lame the script is I do like Hugh but this film was for easily amused hand puppets and teenagers who drool over Kate, I mean, Dracula, Frankenstien, AND the Wolfman? The Monster Squad did that in the 80's already, and compared to this film The Monster Squad deserves a Golden Globe. 2/10 for Hugh and Kate.
Pretty good movie. Great story line. The only thing that was missing was a mummy. Perhaps they could use him if they ever try and make a sequel, but honestly I hope they don't.
The director Steven Summers did the 2 Mummy flics so thats probably why he didn't include one in this which yea, you're right was the one monster missing from this line up.
..and a huge disappointment. I love monsters but when your film mistakenly refers to Frankenstein's monster as Frankenstein then you know it's in the hands of an amateur. I wanted to love this but I need more to my films than a shiny polished look, even with this subject matter. Especially one with such a high production value. I wish I wasn't such a movie snob cause there are a lot of you who really loved this, wish I was roaming around that planet with you guys. Man!
Really nice movie. Action, fantastic and a bit of romance. A movie can't go wrong, when u see hugh jackman ripping off is shirt(for the women) and make the men stand in awe.
But missed a little something, so 4/5. Worth a watch.
Frankenstein, the man made from men torn to shreds, thawed back from the frozen levels of hell, would have tremendous knowledge of how life works - and have access to the source of it..
excellent movie a definate must see..who`d a thunk godbers daughter would grow up te be a filmstar an look soo good te boot lol if you`ve never seen the english tv comedy PORRIGE i strongly suggest you check it out..VAN HELSING 10/10
