Didn't appeal to me when it was first released. I can't say it was a bad movie, but if were not for the casting, I would never have watched it. 6/10 watch and decide for yourself.
i loved this movie its great, i think anyone who says otherwise might be due to the fact they never understood it or payed attention to the story, cause you really have to watch carefuly, i rate it 9.5/10
I watched carefully and payed attention, but I just didn't like it. Sometimes the story, acting, directing and so on have nothing to do with whether someone likes it or not. It's like falling in love. You don't fall in love with someone because he/she is a wonderful person. There's more to it.
Is that he's always Tom Cruise. Again, this was a remake of a foregin film and of course the origional was better. Penelope Cruz played the same part in both! (And was wonderful in both!) Stick to the origional .. 2/5 stars

I don't think Tom Cruise being Tom Cruise is a problem. Michael Caine and Sean Connery always play themselves after all. The question is whether his acting is believable and I think , though not the best, he's an OK actor.
i didn't really like this movie. i know, call me strange.. but i thought it was trying too hard. i've watched it a few times, and found that, although i got it, i really didnt care.
As much as I hate Tom Cruise these days, I love this movie. It's a real mind-trip; definitely a movie you've got to pay attention to. There's a bunch of clues scattered throughout the film, you can go to its wikipedia entry to check them out. Couple of my favorite movie quotes are in this movie as well.

it would be difficult for me to categorize this film, had a touch of many genres, keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time! have not seen vicky cristina barcelona but it would be tought to beat penelope cruz's performance here.
a man goes to the doctor,and tells the doctor,im so depressed doctor,the doctor sais,well you just need a good night out,there is a great show in town tonight ,pokey the clown and he has a great act,the man sais,but doctor i am pokey the clown.
definitely one of the best movies ever..period. 10/10. great story, and true, because the little decisions we make really can change our life forever. decisions like taking a car ride can change everything in your life from that point on
this is a flawless and beautifully told story about love and regret. its a film that makes an impact in your life and is as good as ever when viewed a second or third time. probably the kind of film worth watching every few years to remind yourself of the importants of love and sometimes the letting go of those we love. and it also has my most favourite movie quote ever!!

3/3 for acting 3/3 for story 3/3 for entertainment and 0.5/1 for spark of genius.. overal 9.5/10
I like these kind of movies. The story was brilliant you couldn't know what will happened in the next scene so you had to watch all the movie to understand the movie and the end great was great. The cast was amazing.
love the movie, always confuses me a bit, but its amaazing, the ending is so good though. TOTALLY unexpected.

This is one of my Favorite movies. I watched it when it first came out. I've seen it over 100 times. At the time it was released I was going threw some of the same things. I will never forget this movie. You must see this movie!! I Give It a 5/5 ..

One word: weird! I liked this movie and was shocked by the ending most movies now days are predictable before the movie is half over you know what is going on and who the bad guy is but not this movie the story line was original and the acting and cast were good, kind of sad though all in all I give 7/10
