Yea movie is great.. but a great part is just missing.. basicly a few hours of the end isnt there. so warring to all that will start watching youll enjoy first couple hour.. just to be unable to watch the other half of the movie :(
This is a really great movie, I was really enjoying it.. then it just cuts off. What happened to the rest of the movie? I don't know how much is missing, but the whole movie is DEFINITELY not there. I was really disappointed. >:/
In EVERY definition of the word!! Close to the book, very well cone in every respect on all accounts in my humble opinion. This book has been a favorite of mine since prep school, and I had not taken the time to watch the film version until now, and I am happy that I did. Well worth the time - and time it will take to watch and enjoy this masterpiece. Hepburn and Fonda are amazing.Both are so young and full of vigor - what a vivacious screen presence they both exuded!! I only wish there were more films that had been produced during their careers - both are legends in their own right, and to be side by side on screen in such an epic story - well, you watch and decide for yourself, and then tell your friends to do the same!! Excellent period piece, costuming was impeccable and the scenery truly breathtaking. Well put together in every aspect!! Do yourself a favor and watch this - read the book too!! 5/5 without question!!
it looks like a good long history minded movie, but not what I was looking for; stopped it 15 minutes into it; if u r looking for action or U.S. war material this is NOT it. If u want some european 19th century war and ways of living then I guess u r at the right place, either way good luck!
