still holds its ground for being original and spectacular animation mixed film no it is not the first attempt lord of the ring is done that is well but company got busted so they did the best they can to create a beautiful film mixed with animation. this film had it all good acting big budget to create all the effects it would be lovely to see this film again on blue ray quality
One of the first takes of digital cartoon effects in a movie. I remember they had to use some strange gadgets to get everything right, because they did not have the computer animation that they have today. To get this movie as good as they did with what they had was true genius.
It is a great childrens movie. With zany classic characters such as Roger, the Weasles, and Benny the Cab. They are original crazy and fun. Also it is a mystery. It plays perfectly as one of those Old 50's detective stories. It is a milestone in film making. The scenes of the "toons" and humans sharing a world is great. I think the best scene as special effects go, is the one where Eddie and Roger are handcuffed together in his office. It looks so real!! This movie is fun and creative and will go down in movie history. I don't know what else to say it is simply the best.
I was around 11-13 y.o. when this movie got out. My lil' brotha fell in love with Jessica Rabbit, so I learned the song to keep him calm in the car. A Great movie with original setting of a mixture of real characters and animated (2D) ones. The hand in hand work of Tex & Disney. A great intrigue, superbe environment..I Loved it And Still remember all te fun lines. I still love it as much after watching it here for the trillionest time. 5/5 Timeless Best.
Great mix of animation with real actors..fantastic for adults and kids alike , a blend of live action and traditional animation..Groundbreaking, genrebending, effects-powered, gag-filled 2-hour comic extravaganza. I loved this movie Bob Hoskins did a great job in this movie and the part where Eddie is looking back over his brother's photos always makes me cry. I've had enough of reality I am going to blaze this up and go to TOON TOWN! lol

She is hot. Its like that realistic animation movie of Cool World that girl.. omg. animated girls are starting to look better to me than the real one's.
This one is a classic worth every star. And jessica plzz dump the rabbit.

This movie will forever be an American classic. It is one of the first time I ever saw my favorite cartoon characters in the same film delivering funny lines. If you like wacky adventures and seeing some well known face this is the movie for you. 4/5.
watch the scene where the car crashes. and jessica gets thrown out of the car. as she sommersaults through the air pause it coz she has gone commando you see the lot. the director left the scene in it. its so quick you have to slow it down
