this is a really good movie. the plot is descent, the acting is good so is the action and the racial comedy is amazingly funny.
plus, who doesnt love a good steampunk movie?
This movie was really really good Will Smith .. AWESOME !! The imagination put into this movie is AMAZING !! This is DEF. a MUST SEE movie .. as a matter of fact ALL of Will Smith's movie are a MUST SEE !!

I don't even know where to be begin..I've never been a massive Will Smith fan, though I do think he has shown reasonable talent in several movies. However with such a poor screenplay, uninspired direction, terrible editing and SFX I doubt that any actors would have been able to give a more credible performance.
Such as it is, the basic plot isn't too bad, but is continually ruined by all the above and by constantly slipping into the absurd. For example:

while the (very camp and over-played) villan is relishing his moment of triumph he stops suddendly to be seduced by an unlikely Will Smith in drag.
Anyone who appreciates the various engines and machines in this stupid, pointless movie should check out "Steamboy"..it's way, way better
Wild Wild West has style to spare, a few laughs and some imaginative touches. Also like 'Avengers' it has stars who look like they'd rather be somewhere else, a lack of verve and a script that takes the long road to nowhere.
