Well-paced and credible movie. My word, didn't those period costumes show off the charms of the buxom Shelley Winters to great advantage! Notice stars-to-be Rock Hudson as an Indian brave and Tony Curtis as a bluejacket private, and the always unsavoury Dan Duryea (I used to call him Dan Diarrhoea) at his loathsome best, though he always seemed more like a ruthless Chicago gangster than a western desperado. Makes one feel like a boy again in the 1/9s (the cheapest cinema seats not the rating which is an unequivocal 10/10 !)
You jest don't mess with Jimbo. He's one of the bestest. Shelly really looked pretty in this movie. poor ole' Danny Boy..Sheesh, Great show all the way around folks
